ECA is a great store, particularly for a saltwater/coral fanatic like me. Their tanks are always clean, their fish are usually healthy, and their coral tank is usually full, well-cared for, and features a good selection. The staff at ECA is really top-notch, too- they'll go above and beyond to help you find something that will work with your tank parameters and experience level. I'd like to particularly recommend the weekend crew- the owner is there on the weekends, and two fellas named Darren and Eric. Those two guys are never afraid to tell you if they think something you want may not be advisable, and they won't try to sell you something they don't think will do well in your tank. I've heard them steer a customer who wanted to keep an Blue Angel in a 75 gallon tank towards a pygmy angel instead, and I've heard them tell a guy who had five tangs in his 125 gallon setup that he shouldn't add another for the overall health of his tank. Seriously, these guys will never try to sell you something just to sell it, and I think that speaks very well for them. Also, the staff isn't afraid to tell you that they don't know the answer to one of your questions if they don't know it. Eric, the coral guy, couldn't identify a small frag for me in the coral tank, told me so, and then promptly went to a reference book, figured out the possibilities, and educated me about each one. I was thoroughly impressed. I would recommend them to all of my reef-keeping friends. Thanks for the great service.

At east coast they treat you like family.The employee's are there with all your needs. A loyal and lifetime customer.
